Hi, I’m Sara.

An Italian coeliac with a passion for pizza.

Born in Italy, I have always had a curious mind. Influenced by an artistic grandfather and a coder father, I developed a blend of rationality and creativity. This led me to the world of communications and design, where I graduated as an Industrial Product Designer. From there, I transitioned into advertising, finding my place as an Art Director: a role that combines a strategic mindset with a passion for human insights, driving all my creative efforts.

My work experience

KETCHUM, Mid Creative, London 2022-2023

I entered the PR world to challenge myself, working with brands like Samsung, Mastercard, Mars Group, H&S Group, and Girls Vs Cancer to create conceptual ideas. I dedicated months to pitching to new brands and developing proactive work.

DUDE, Art Director, London 2021- 2022

After freelancing, I joined Dude, an independent agency in London. At Dude, I strengthened my strategic mindset and hybrid skills of being creative, creating 360° campaigns for a diverse range of sectors, including entertainment, sports, and charity. The clients that fuelled my growth are Netflix, Campari, Trainline, Control, Puma x Man City, Emergency NGO, Kaspersky, C4D.

Freelancer, Art Director & Video editor, London 2020-2021

My career in the UK began alongside the pandemic, but it didn’t hold me back. I freelanced for Dude London and Edelman, leading pitches and crafting conceptual ideas for clients such as Finom Bank, Control, and Alipay. Driven by my passion for video editing, I created mood videos to bolster these pitches.

VMLY&R, Intern. Art Director, Milan 2018-2019

My advertising journey began at VMLY&R, where my enthusiasm as a junior fuelled me into numerous social campaigns, pitches, and attended my first sets. I worked on projects for brands such as Elica, Guess, Costa Crociere, Intimissimi, and Garbusera.

Ecco srl, stage Packaging designer, Turin 2017

My first step in communication was in packaging design, where I helped the team by providing graphic design services. The main clients were food and healthcare, like Ferrero, Beretta and Angelini.

Education

Master in Creative direction, IED, Milan 2017-2018

While completing my bachelors degree, I undertook a masters in Creative Direction at IED in Milan. Here I studied both copywriting and art direction, focusing on my passion around insights and concepts more than executions. The teachings imprinted in me still drive me in the way I work today.

Design and visual communication Degree, Politecnico, Turin 2014-2017

I attended three years of Design and Visual Communication, studying design for exhibitions, products and packaging. During those years my passion for communication grew, driving me into advertising.
